Rules & Regulations

Driving Sessions: Only Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, DeTomaso, Iso, Bizzarrini and pre-approved limited production sports cars eligible for open track groups.

Vintage Sessions: Any Italian car that entered production before 1970 & ended production prior to 1975 and is of sufficient performance (as deemed by Italian Cars) to ensure the safety of other cars. White group rules apply.
 

Touring Sessions: Sports Cars Only.
 

Drivers Meetings: All drivers must attend Drivers Meeting & Drivers School on Saturday June 24th. All drivers must attend 7:45 am Drivers Meeting on Sunday June 25th & Monday June 26th.

Run Groups:
We Recommend that ALL Drivers wear a head & neck restraint system!!!


Group rules.

White/Green - Helmets (Snell 2000 SA) long sleeves & pants. Proper driving shoes.
Blue - Helmets (Snell 2000 SA), Nomex Driving Suit.
Red - Helmets (Snell 2000 SA), Nomex Driving Suit.

1) THIS IS A DRIVING EVENT, NOT A RACE!
2) Safety for all is of the utmost importance.
3) Remove all items from inside of car, floor mats, tapes etc.
4) Run groups will run counter clockwise
5) Pit Lane speed limit is 15-MPH Maximum. 1st offense will receive warning, 2nd offense will result in suspension of driving privileges for the remainder of the day, and driving fees will be forfeited
6) Discourteous maneuvers will not be tolerated. Passing will only be allowed on the front and back straight-a-ways and only with a point by.
7) Passing on short chute after Devil's Elbow in Red & Blue Groups only!
8) Do Not use turn signals.
9) No body contact. If contact is made, all drivers involved will be at fault, and asked to leave the event. All fees will be forfeited. Sportsmanship is mandatory for your fellow drivers and friends.
10) If you have a faster car on the straight, but slower in the infield, let the car by when it is safe to point by in the appropriate areas.
11) When exiting pits and rejoining a session, stay low in groove with white blend line through turn 1, move out slowly as you gain speed after the end of turn 1 blend line.
12) When entering pits hold fist out window until well into envelope of pit entrance.
13) All run sessions will be under yellow flag conditions for the first 2 laps each day. Use these laps to familiarize yourself with the track and location of safety crewmembers. During 1st 2 laps of your first session, as you pass each flag station acknowledge each safety crewmember with a wave. Observe cones at apex locations. Warm tires & vital fluids.
14) The time to observe your instruments is on the front or back straights.
15) Passengers will only be permitted in White, Blue & Vintage Groups.
16) If you are loosing fluids or parts your car will be BLACK-FLAGGED.
17) If you cut someone off by late braking, 1st offense will receive warning, 2nd offense will result in suspension of driving privileges for the remainder of the day, and driving fees will be forfeited.
18) If you spin put "Both Feet In" after you have spun 180 degree.
19) Upgrades can only be done by instructor.

The undersigned has read the rules & regulations and agrees to abide by them. Common sense and driving within your skill level should prevail. They HAVE READ THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS, HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, and FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. They are of the physical & mental capacity to participate in this event. They also assume all responsibility and choose to participate at their own risk and release Italian Cars, Inc., Classic Automobile Renaissance Society, Inc. Stockcar Racing Experience, Pocono International Raceway, RCA, Ferrari Club of America, all associated sponsors, advertisers, clubs and their representatives from any and all responsibility & liability with attending and participating in Le Belle Macchine d'Italia.
